  2. Can’t wait to hear this in a club and show them my dance moves. =) I could do some damage with this beat.

she’s off the deep end, someone help her.

  4. smashing  |   Posted on Nov 10th, 2006

    what the hell?

  5. This is kind of nuts and I am not afraid to admit that I enjoy the hell out of it.

  6. Gargamale  |   Posted on Nov 10th, 2006

So Fergie tries to be Gwen. And then Gwen tries to be Fergie. They are confusing and retarded.

  7. Is this the airport, clark?  |   Posted on Nov 10th, 2006

Where is that BofA video again? I need to listen to some realllll music.

  8. davebobn  |   Posted on Nov 10th, 2006

    Ughh.

  9. I agree with The City Desk, I’m a sucker for Gwen….

  10. Shar  |   Posted on Nov 10th, 2006

  11. bklyn  |   Posted on Nov 10th, 2006

i wish people would stop comparing gwen and fergie. dis song wuz made like a whole year before fergie’s retarded “London Bridge” . . . if fergie is tryin 2 be like gwen, she’s got a looooooong way 2 go

Jesus…. she just keeps getting more awful.

  14. what the FUCK?

  15. Katy  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

I just wish she’d stop sampling musicals. Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music, what’s next? It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

  16. nelzo  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

shes saying bush is like hitler.

  17. Gwen Stefani: A new generation’s Rod Stewart.

Give her thirty years and she’ll be schlocking out volume after volume of schmalzy cover albums.

  18. is it any wonder her name’s an anagram of:

FAT GENES WIN and WANTING FEES

    just sayin….

  19. She’s got what sells. I can complain until my voice runs out, but nothing will stop this from being a huge hit.

  20. Jimbo  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

Admit it, you hipster faggots: this is garbage. It’s bland and inoffensive Peaches.

  21. Bigdoublezero  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

Um, let’s all be honest. That song sucks.

  22. I thought it was crap. the yodelling was annoying and the video was boring to watch. I dont know how so many people keep up with her new music.

  23. disasterhead  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

dear gwen, if you read this…

please go back to no doubt…
i hate the moron rap section…talking about ‘they like the way we work’…
what a piece of garbage….no doubt is timeless…

  24. Zedd  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

    No Doubt sucks too. ;-)

  25. Katy, you forgot Gone With The Wind.

that cluck-ish sound makes me want to go ride a horse, or atleast, make that “i’m riding a pony!” gesture. i don’t know how to feel about this. :|

  26. John, rod stewart played with ron wood and jeff beck though. I actually like no doubt, even if it’s not cool and indie to do so, but gwen’s solo stuff isn’t that good. Her next broadway thing should be doing grease songs w/ gavin, b/c that’s the direction she’s heading in.

  27. alvysinger  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

This might be one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard. completely unlistenable. it talks about winding you up so you think the beat is building to something and going somewhere but it doesn’t. it doesn’t build to anything or go anywhere.

    just awful, almost offensively so.

  28. ghgjh  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

I don’t like the song and I hate the video. In Central Europe you would call that “lower class music”.

  29. rama  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

    yodeling: stupid

    atonal bass line: fucking awesome

  30. whatever  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

i like it–even the yodeling has grown on me. gwen can do no wrong!

  31. Jack the Ripper  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

I didn’t know there was any connection between cute Austrian kids learning how to control marionettes from their governess and dancing in a club to attract boys with crazy moves. The similarities seem so obvious now…

  32. Karen  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

yodeling is actually bavarian and austrian. however, this song is an abuse of culture.

  33. rgr_moore  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

    absolute dog shit

  34. adam  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

i feel like she is ripping off M.I.A with that song

  35. so anyone else just hear my hump over and over again?

  36. I hate it

  37. you could lay parts of ‘my humps’ over this piece of crap easily. i thought L.A.M.B. was a guilty pleasure, but this is just annoying. bad single.

  38. andy  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

I notice she’s fired the Asian Squad.

  39. you could lay parts of ‘my humps’ over this piece of crap easily. i thought L.A.M.B. was a guilty pleasure, but this is just annoying. bad single.

  40. claire  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

hah, abusing culture is Gwen’s specialty. at least she’s ditched those damn harajuku girls. this song is awful

  41. Jenna  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

    I like it….a lot…

  42. joe $  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

i can’t tell the difference between fergie and gwen anymore. such shit.

  43. This is the sort of music they will listen to in The Future.

The Future is going to SUCK.

  44. luke  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

this song and the “fergalicious” song remind me of Robyn’s “Konichiwa Bitches”

    Anyone else hearing that?

  45. Matthew  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

Normally, I take the high road when it comes to music, but I have to admit… I like Fergie and Gwen. They’re not quality, necessarily, but they’re good bubblegum. So, uh, guess I should get to killing myself over my music opinions, eh?

  46. TheHumanComa  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

I agree with whoever called it absolute dog shit. First that stupid Justin Timberlake ‘song’ and now this crap? how can they call it music? it doesn’t sound like music, it sounds like shit oozing out of speakers with retarded third grade level lyrics on top of them.

  47. Zedd  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

hey, don’t dis timberlake….. his falsetto destroys this. and timbaland is a genius.

  48. fred  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2006

chnaging the subject to good music: I heard a rumour that a certain MOUSE’s SHIP had sprung a LEAK! I wonder if it’s true??

  49. yodelay  |   Posted on Nov 12th, 2006

i hated it muchly when the mp3 was posted. but it has grown like a yummy cancer and is just shit enough to be bearably brilliant.

  50. Roman  |   Posted on Nov 12th, 2006

Garbage. First she does Fiddler on the Roof and now this? What’s next, Oklahoma??

  51. Roman  |   Posted on Nov 12th, 2006

ah, someone beat me to it.

An Aquarian Exposed Is Were You Get Your Sound…

  53. it looks like gwen has run out of ideas…

  54. Audra  |   Posted on Nov 12th, 2006

Oh, come on. If this were a Britney or Rihanna song everyone would be expressing their distaste in a heartbeat. But people like Gwen and don’t want to admit her songs are crappy. I can’t stand Gwen, but I don’t fault her for preying on the stupid.

  55. HOLY FUCK JEWEL DOES DANCE MUSIC NOW?!

  56. its totally dope… though the director may have been on dope… anyways its great! it doesnt get more original in the music industry than ripping off the sound of music. she can make a L.A.M.B. commercial bananas for sure, fergie copied gwen, and ‘wind it up’ was made before fergie was considering a solo career. the hills are alive with the sound of gwen stefani.

  57. alec  |   Posted on Nov 12th, 2006

anybody see how fergie copied the rolling in candy thing from gwen’s luxurious for fergalicious?

  58. toto  |   Posted on Nov 12th, 2006

NO! No, this cannot be the same female who sang “Dont Speak” or “I’m Just a Girl” or anything that had to do with No Doubt. She has been replaced by a horrible gibbering android that ate the soundtracks to Drum Line and The Sound of Music.

  59. contradicto  |   Posted on Nov 13th, 2006

Actually Jewel did dance music, like, three years ago. I don’t know why I know that.

  60. Tanner C.  |   Posted on Nov 13th, 2006

Does anyone else VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED written all over those white wigs and pinafores?

  61. smoothie  |   Posted on Nov 13th, 2006

personally i found this song disturbing on so many levels. keep this up gwen and you lost your career. i still love you tho!

  63. Mark S.  |   Posted on Nov 13th, 2006

So is this the new substitute for music in the 21st century? Kinda like Sweet N Lo vs. sugar? I’ll take diabetes, thanks.

  64. I’m praying that this is the most disturbing thing I see this week.

    Because it can’t get worse.

  65. Come back Crazy Frog…. all is forgiven.

  66. ashley  |   Posted on Nov 13th, 2006

to those who thought the harajuku girls were gone, you’re wrong. they are dancing behind her wearing wigs. did you really think she’d get rid of them after she immortalized them in barbie doll form?

  67. Calliwell  |   Posted on Nov 13th, 2006

No Doubt is what she should of stucked to and leave it at that. Please Gwen, take the harajuku girls back to their homes, take off that Nun outfit, stop ruining musicals, and stop spray painting your shoes gold and writing “Rollin in Cashmere” and selling them at Browns.

  68. martell  |   Posted on Nov 14th, 2006

whatever…all of you are trying to bite our style
    Trying to study our approach
you like the way we do it, so original!!!

  69. the song has an incredible beat and concept to it, but holy shit is the video so beyond over the top. it’s like a hip hop video circa 1999.

  70. Heather  |   Posted on Nov 16th, 2006

I think it is a good song..but that’s my opinion errybody gotz dey own opinionzz..

  71. mike  |   Posted on Nov 16th, 2006

    chillspot.

  72. Wow. If you don’t like it don’t listen. There so much music out there to choose from and you come in here and bash this. All of you with the negative comments need to be more open minded. Its as if you were just saying negative things to be negative. Like they were all stuck inside your mind waiting for something to lash out on, no matter what it was. I guess I should be a little glad you didn’t lash out on some young child. And for the people comparing her to the musicals…every artist gets inspiration from somewhere. Would you rather her get inspiration from your personal life? I doubt it would be as interesting to listen to. I also doubt that it would sell.

  73. Please don’t compare this crap to Rihanna. I actually think all of Rihanna’s radio singles have been prety damn good (except for that “Murderer” song, I guess). Gwen has sunk into self-effing-parody; I say this having already hated “Hollaback Girl.”

  74. Manda  |   Posted on Nov 17th, 2006

I think all those who enjoy no doubt should give gwen a chance she has been off 4 a year with new hubby n baby and now she is back in the building so what , she has used a musical 4 her new single, she used alice in wonderland for her solo single and nobody complained when she was number 1 then! also the hairajuku girls are her support. in no doubt she had her boy mates and now she has her girls mates. big deal! and personally her japanese style is very cool! this is coming from my 13 yr old english self and i say to you all. wait until she hits the chart with her new stuff ands becomes as popular as her and no doubt ever was. because then , my friends, we will see gwen rise again and all you negative losers out there will be slagging someone else off … all those who agree email me at annabel.hobbs@tiscali.co.uk xx

  96. Fluteteacher1  |   Posted on Dec 3rd, 2006

I hold a Master Degree in Music Education and I have been teaching for over 20 years. I have to say I love No Doubt and “The Sound of Music” and pretty much anything Gwen Stefani has done from the beginning of her Solo career. I loved the song and its video. I loved the incredibly clever use of “The lonely Goatherd” in a pop/hip hop song. The dance beat is great and its all in good fun. We are lucky to live in a time where music is so diverse and that we have someone like Gwen Stefani to take chances and try new things. This will be a big hit and I predict will hit number one. If you don’t like it, simply turn it off but I bet it will be hard for the haters to ignore it, because it will be everywhere in a manner of weeks. Gwen Stefani is a great talent! :) Keep it up Gwen… BRILLIANT!

  97. alyssa  |   Posted on Dec 8th, 2006

I love the song….yodel and all…don’t listen to it if you don’t like it. if i had the money and the fame and time i would make something like this for the POP world….cause IT ALL SOUNDS THE SAME TO ME!

  98. smartass  |   Posted on Dec 11th, 2006

Fergie and Gwen Stefani have gone batshit crazy. Sad thing is, little girls are gonna buy this shit up and the puppetmasters behind the grammys and VMAs will give them awards for it. Looks like were stuck with this bullshit until you morons quit buying for your kids. The reason to go XM or Serius.

  99. Gwen u rock my socks ahahha love ya gurjuz xxx

Retarded. Makes me wanna smash stuff up and punch brick walls. Seriously.. trapped in a room listening to this on a loop would break me. I’d try to kill myself by choking on my own tongue.
