They’re saying, “Watch how we get all these kids to think headlining reunion show.” So we’ll play it cool and not mention the band by name.

LA times just announced it. the lineup is Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Bjork..then Arcade Fire, Interpol, Willie Nelson, the Roots, Manu Chao, the Decemberists, Arctic Monkeys, Sonic Youth, Crowded House, Air, Tiësto, Kings of Leon….

don’t believe any lineup rumours til you hear from the source. every year someone announces a fake lineup, and every year people lap it up (or maybe this is just my denial that RHCP and RATM will be there. please, please no Goldenvoice. don’t do it). but to be honest, i don’t buy that LA Times “announced lineup” for a second. that’s not a Coachella lineup, that’s a Grammy’s performance lineup.

Headliners are HORRIBLE (except for Bjork). The rest of the lineup is fairly strong in my opinoin. But the good thing is that one of two things will happen for me. The Grammy headliners will
1. cause empty stages elsewhere, or
2. allow me to beat the traffic out
Both are good things so I’m happy about it.
