The leak of “My Moon, My Man” last week got lips flapping in anticipation of the new Feist record The Reminder, which is sure to give her a well-deserved Chan-like raise in stature this year. And we swear we thought that before we heard that a big bank was trying to seduce your check book into biting at their awesome interest rates to the sweet tune of Let It Die‘s “Gatekeeper.” The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation wants you to save money, and they figure a petite Canadian indie rocker is the best way to get to your savings. We won’t argue. (Thanks, Janet!)

    Who’s got the link?

  2. It’s the “One Room One Hour Mix” from Open Season.

I saw this commercial and thought, because there were no vocals, they were just ripping off the song (I know a washing machine commercial ripped on Jens Lekman). Then I saw the version with vocals and I was proud of myself for my abilty. There’s also the commecials that have The New Pornographers, The National, Franz Ferdinand, Go! Team, and I swear that was a Jens Lekman rip off.

Does this sound like “Another Sweet Summers Night on Hammer Hill” by Jens Lekman to anyone else?
