Figurines have gotta be the best contemporary guitar-based American indie pop band not from America. The adeptly assimilating Danes have also learned a thing about weaving lore around their music, as this clip, created by Brad Mossman and animated by Aaron Blecha, is based on the cover art to the excellent Skeleton LP. Says Blecha, “The last frame of the animation is the CD cover image and the story reveals how the character gets there.” We like, but if someone can explain the eyeball story to us, that’d be swell.

    Good alien porn is like, so hard to find now days.

    I don’t think this so much “explains” where the album art comes from. It just plays with the album art and ends with the cover image. However, what is happening with the flower? I think this actually poses more questions than it offers answers.
