It’s been over three years since you’ve heard from The Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan, but that’s only if you didn’t see her mellow take on Linger in the Adam Sandler comedy Click. So yeah, it’s been over three years since you’ve heard from Dolores O’Riordan. But she hasn’t forgotten about you! Dolores has her first solo record Are You Listening? out on 5/8, and the time is right for her first-ever solo gig. She told NME:

I haven’t played London since 2003. This show is exceptionally thrilling for me – not only because it’s my first ever solo UK show, but because it’s also the first time British audiences will hear my new material live.

Go to hear her new stuff, or just go to check in on her ever-changing hairstyle. Just don’t be that guy that yells “Zombie!” the whole show.

Just European dates for now. Check ‘em after the jump.

  1. That picture weirds me out. It looks like she’s working security detail for some top secret government location and game of “good cop/bad cop” is about to break out.

  2. The Cranberries unplugged is basically Dolores solo, so check that out for a hit.

Here’s something I always wished to say to her that I kept inside of me since 1994…

    GROW YOUR *&?&*?% HAIR

Dolores moved in about 10 minute walk from me last year in Dublin. she pushes her new baby around in a pram most days. some friends were poking fun (shes an easy target!) in a restaurant in this area and she happened to be sitting right behind them, heard everything, gave them a good Zombified staring at.

for some reason theyre always playing her shit in the change rooms of the swimming pool i go to. she sounds like a cat with multiple personalities.

The most bizarre concert I’ve ever been at was the Cranberries at the Washington Memorial back around ’92 or ’93. They played a couple of songs and then started into “Linger” and the crowd started body surfing and moshing (yes they were moshing to “Linger”) and the park police went apeshit and pulled the plug, ended the show after 15 minutes. A girl standing a few feet from me was nearly trampled by a horse that one of the park policeman thought was a good idea to ride into the crowd. Delores’ guitar was stolen by someone. It was total chaos, the sort of thing I expect at an ICP show not a Cranberries show for God’s sake.
Not that this has anything to do with this article.

is it okay if “that guy” that yells “Zombie!!” as a request is Ed Helms? I would think so.
