For a second you’ll think that pulling hunky Croatian thespian Goran Visnjic is just another stab at the hit-or-miss celeb stunt casting that’s running rampant — until he opens his shirt (hey ladies!) to find a digital surprise. More like a short film than video, and the song becomes secondary soundtrack to the Croat’s paranoia. Somebody get this guy a television show, STAT. (And thanks for the heads up, teco apple.)

I am actually really really looking forward to their new album. From what I’ve heard already, it’s definitely a more rock-y album than James & co’s previous efforts

I just can’t believe this track has been waiting to be released since 2004!!!!!!!

SPOILER ALERT!: Bummer. That would have been so much better if after the toast popped up he looked down and that timer was no longer there. It was all just a paranoid fantasy about how long it takes to make toast! But no… they went and blowed ‘im up.

Hopefully Lavelle will quit attempting to dj since UNKLE is going more rock than electronic.

well… apparently, when UNKLE tour this album out, instead of doing a “dex n’ fx” show (like what was done for “Never Never Land”) -> they’re actually going to tour as a live band

  6. Thanks! This was very odd, because I am/was listening to some Dj Shadow right when I saw this post. ha

Why do so many DJs insist on doing this switch-to-live-rock maneuver after a while? UNKLE, RJD2, etc…it just never quite pans out.

  8. kind of like Oldboy meets rabbit in your headlights but empty. At the end it would have been better if he had jumped off the building so he could have regained the power instead of just being afraid and letting someones revenge take him. Jonathan Glazer wouldn’t have had such a dumb ending.

Good song/video…though it does seem a tad irresponsible given the age of the suicide bomber we’re living in

    just a thought

  10. Wow, pulled no punches with that vid. Another in a series of UNKLE music videos that have been banned from broadcast, I’m sure. While the “Rabbit in Your Headlights” video is still awesome, my favorite video is the one they did for “Eye for an Eye” off “Never, Never Land.” That shit is scary as hell:
