You Polyphonic Spree fans have liked what you’ve heard of the record so far, so here’s the first single from the Texan troupe’s new record. Keeping with DeLaughter’s episodic symphony motif, the track’s full title is “Section 22 [Running Away],” or “dude” if you’re into the whole brevity thing. The sweeping, glee choir pomp and circumstance of “Running Away” is the second song on the LP, on the heels of “Together We’re Heavy,” making for a knock out one-two intro to the black clad band’s Fragile Army.     this recent strand of spree articles has been getting on my nerves, and the 1:47 of that song i just allowed myself to listen to confirmed the annoying one-trick pony that is this “band”

  11. This band needs to “run away” already…please….Their dearth of ideas is staggering… This song completely rips off the melody of Blondie’s “Dreaming” …the schtik is over…hang in your robes
    …they got dropped by their label as it is….just awful..
