i think the cover photo is great. but the rerecorded version of “listen up” is kind of bad. i get that they wanted to speed up the tempo, and that’s fine, but the multitracking on her vocals is… not pleasant.

That video went from “sort of awesome” for the first three-fourths of it to “totally fucking awesome” with the disco/Love Shack dancing. And I like the discofied, sped-up Listen Up.

ooh, I agree with the multi-tracking … steals her voice’s thunder, it’s so powerful on it’s own. Low budget recording is the way to go with this band.
