The first major primary of the 2008 election season is over, and the results are in: a plurality of voters have selected Celine Dion’s “You and I” as Candidate Clinton’s official campaign song. A victory for populism, perhaps, but a sound defeat for our ears. Then again, the pickings were pretty slim. We just feel bad for those campaign workers who potentially could be forced to listen to “You and I” on continuous loop from now until next November. Still, it has to be better than Smashmouth, right?
So, does this mean she’s dead?
