The second clip from the still-incredible Yellow House LP sees Grizzly Bear opt for a new director (Jesse Ewles), while keeping somethings constant: namely, bizarre, adjective-defying characters amidst interactive, sentient elements of nature. Like ya do. And actually, its mesh of right-brained plot and video/stop-animation cinematography is oddly arresting and, somehow, perfectly emotional. Here are a couple of stills of hero and villain, courtesy of director Jesse’s blog.

Watch the vid at Subterranean.

AND sweet bonus: Apparently at some point Jesse was working on a video for Sufjan that never was made. But he’s got mad stills! Check ‘em after the jump.
