Let’s add to the server load! We’ve just started spinning our way through Pinback’s Autumn Of The Seraphs, and next to the Summer In Abbadony “Good To Sea,” this one would be our pick for first single, too. Everything rushes in that taut, sixteenth-note pulse the Pinbackers have owned for the past few years, Rob and bass finding new ways to flesh out the melodic sphere: vocals smoothed out then percussive, playing off of lots of high-neck ‘n’ busy bass fret action.

Autumn Of The Seraphs is out 9/11 on Touch & Go.

  1. great track.

I love this album and can’t wait to have the real album in my hands on 9/11

Crow’s “living well” is a great lead up to this record also.

can’t wait for the next pinback tour.

Another 9/11 release (the other one I’m aware of being the Go! Team’s)? Again, I ask: Was this date chosen deliberately?

    Pinback/TGT clearly hate freedom.

I’ve heard better Pinback songs. Many of them.

That rhythm is all 1/8th’s, not 1/16th’s.

    good song.

  8. Appreciate the mp3. 9/11 will be strange for a while, but it, like all other dates of tragic events, will fade.
