Ramble John’s had a crazy stretch of late, going from tops of the Stereogum Catorce pops to hawking banana-infused rum concoctions in just three years. The DeeTwo’s blue-eyed soul incorporation didn’t come without its growing pains, but RJ’s got good will to burn. And vids like this will keep him in our good-willed graces forever: That’s Bill Shannon, a man with a true hip defect, cross-city skiing with crutches, a skateboard, and Fred Astaire panache. Don’t try this in your hometown, but email your friends ’cause it’s the coolest thing you’ll see all day. Well, this or watching Slint do Spiderlands tonight at Pitchfork.
