Sam Beam’s latest is a brilliant collection of muddy ambiance and earthen largess, so the album cover floating around the net seemed to fit, sorta; a little less-than-stellar, but hey it looked woodsy and Beam’s got beard, so whatever. Turns out that was all a sham, perpetrated by some avid, amateur, Iron-inspired artiste. The real album art, well, that titular canine’s the star of the show…

Is it sad that I like the cover more than the album itself? The only problem I have with the cover is some parts look sloppy for the sake of being sloppy, which isn’t cool.

thats funny. I came online to find out the artist of the album cover, to find it out was by sam makes it 1000x times better! And from my graphic designer pov, the font is super, not too dominating, and nice choice of colors to attract attention. figure ground is nice as well..blah blah blah.
