Reader Andrea wrote in this afternoon to sent us an awesomely phrased tip…
I feel like I should justify myself first and say that I normally DO NOT watch So You Think You Can Dance, but in a moment of weakness last night I found myself sitting there doing so … Fast forward to 50 seconds.
Don’t worry Andrea, had we stumbled upon this sweet little find ourselves, we would have prefaced it exactly the same way (wink emoticon). Sure enough, :50 in we see SYTYCD contestants Pasha and Lacey doing a geek-meets-the-robot dance routine to the trickling electro pop of So This Is Goodbye standout “In the Morning.” Here’s hoping for a Strawberry jam next! Yes, we think you can dance to “Derek.” Thanks Andrea!

what’s wrong with a show that promotes artistic expression?
People who say “slow news day” are douches

People who post anonymous are douches

I predict that same group will use 13 Monsters for their next dance.
This was embarrassing
This give me goose bumps. It was actually cool.
for the record, SYTYCD is a fun show and they often pick good tracks to dance to. you can knock participatory television but it’s not like you don’t love to comment on blogs. hipster hypocrisy.
love the hip-hop’ey editing on it
that was actually kinda kick ass.
that was actually hot
every moment of that was entirely embarrassing
youre fucking embarrassing.
youre fucking embarrassing.
does that strike a crazy childhood movie cord with anybody else? wheres that mannequin thing from? fantasia? the tin man? i really have no idea but i think it kind of affected me deeply
mannequin thing= chitty chitty bang bang
biddy, what does that even mean?
It was one of the better routines, actually. Some of them are hella lame.
that was hot. And any of you dateless nerds who didn’t like it should go back to Pitchfork. Just cause you can’t dance don’t hate on those that can
