Our last encounter with Canadian dance-punkers YSP! WSD! came during their tag team with Tokyo Police Club to cover the Rentals’ “Friend Of P.” And now we meet them in a dusty, gutted building with visions of pregnant women and little children ominously frolicking next to sketches of kids in caskets with hollowed eyes. You say “party,” they say “die,” indeed. Who knew pregnancy and images of fertility could be so creepy? Sunny way to start the day.
