Last but not least, dude owns Jim Morrison’s old couch. Hey, maybe our Doors references re: “Seahorse” weren’t so off thee mark? Step inside…
We still think Smoky Rolls Down Thunder Canyon drags, but Banhart’s so charming and downright sensitive when he starts talking about Malachi Ritscher and Native American art that maybe he should give more house tours whenever he feels the need to add another tune to an overstuffed track list?

I didn’t like “Smoky Rolls Down Thunder Canyon” too much at first, but I saw him last night in Omaha and it made sense, all of a sudden.
