Sonic wizard Guillermo Scott Herron’s kept his name in our bloglines of late with his acoustically inclined Savath Y Savalas project and collab under that moniker with ATL avant-electro duo Leyode, but we’re happy to see he’s back in his glitch guise Prefuse 73, with a new album on Warp out later this month. The LP was preceded by the “Class Of 73 Bells” single, a collab with breezy Brooklyn psychedelic vocal troupe School Of Seven Bells (featuring ex-members of Secret Machines and On!Air!Library!) and Epstein (aka Roberto Lange, who recently remixed Brad Laner).

We called it a “spinning” tune when we first heard it, turns out the vid director thought so, too. Lots of action — women walking, smoke-billowing femme mirror images, etc. — generally framed by lots of roundabout motion. It goes up and down, and around. Circular, circle. Feel it. Go with the flow, Happy.

Portable P73…

Preparations is out 10/23 on Warp.
