Been a couple years since we’ve heard any of Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince’s mechanized sounds, and just as the news cycle begins lagging due to early tryptophan onset, the Kills whet appetites with a first course of post-No Wow fare. We don’t know much about U.R.A. fevers or their symptoms. On the chance it’s more like “you are a fever,” there’s only one prescription. Anyway, the Kills cut is dark and deliberate and sorta sexy despite the watered down come-on (“you ain’t born typical”?).

The Kills next one’s due out in March ’08 via Domino.
