The publicity trajectory for Robyn’s self-titled album’s a wonder to behold; it sorta feels like we’ve been on a three year bender, celebrating Robyn‘s breathtaking popcraft over and over and over again. That’s ’cause we have, really; take “Be Mine!” for example — one of the record’s many killer cuts, initially released as the LP’s first single in Sweden in ’05, now getting re-released as the fourth single for UK promo purposes. And since it’s been practically three years since the track’s first dispersal, of course it gets a new video! Not that we’re complaining, of course, but if you’re just getting into her, the original’s better and more, umm, memorable. The new…
The old…
No contest.
Robyn is (finally) out in the US 12/4 via Konichiwa/Interscope.

as boring today as it was three years ago.
what a great song, but the new video does not need to exist.
the old vid was awesome. this new one is confusing. in a significantly less good way.
Should have re-released the old video and let america assume it was a Britney Spears reference
the old video would have never been played in the uk, america or canada…. love the sweeds
why are you making me relive Madonna’s career?
