The first single from West Indian Girl’s recently released record is all bohemian, beachfront swirls, tackling the travails of being a transplant to the glossy fantasy-cemetery that is Los Angeles — but when filtered through WIG’s irresistibly sunny shades, somehow it’s still something worth celebrating. For most, dreams go to L.A. to die, unless you’re a backpacker whose dream is to spend a day getting a West Indian tour of the town and filming as much of Mariqueen as possible. That’s a good way to live in L.A.

Get MP3 here, and West Indian Girl’s “Eight Days A Week” cover while reading about their day jobs. 4th And Wall is out now on Milan.
