Get to “When Cold Air Goes To Sleep”‘s b-section and you’ll brush into the track’s turn towards the Flaming Lips, but it’s at just about that point the video turns into a KISS-take. The irony? It was directed by Bradley Beesley of Flaming Lips documentary The Fearless Freaks fame. At least singer James Putnam’s maintaining a vaguely Oklahoman vibe. Vaguely.

Radar Bros.’ Auditorium is out 1/28 on Merge, which is also the last night of the band’s January residency at L.A.’s The Echo.
