According to Silicon Alley Insider, the Athenians are premiering Accelerate on iLike beginning 3/24. The album doesn’t hit the racks until 4/1, so this is a pretty big coup for iLike. Remember, Michael and the boys premiered Around The Sun on MySpace back when it only had 4 million users. Then the site went on to invent Arctic Monkeys and Lily Allen! R.E.M. are social-networking tastemakers.
