It’s a tad strange listening to a Wilco song without a Volkswagen commercial attached to it, but we’ll deal. The previously unreleased “Glad It’s Over”‘s a slippery toe-tapping Sky Blue Sky outtake that appears on the previously mentioned, Death Cab and My Morning Jacket-studded Heroes soundtrack, available only at Best Buy. Or, if you don’t feel like leaving the couch, get acquainted with Wilco’s two cents over at Hype. Kinda Spoon-y.

Inside Wilco’s Austin City Limits Taping
Wilco repeated only 10 songs both nights ... but when Cline again strapped on the Les Paul to accompany Lowe (“Seriously. Our hero,” Tweedy declared), listeners would have been happy to join Tweedy’s campaign to elevate Cline to at least No. 79.

  1. You need to find a NEW word to to start out your posts about NEW bullshit. Since April 1st, about 15+ posts have been NEW *Band VIDEO or NEW *Band” SONG!

  2. There’s a good reason for outtakes. There’s an even better reason to not let those songs see the light of day.

Speaking of calling blogs on their shit, quit spamming the comments with links to your shitty blog, Yo Yo Yo Money.

  7. This song is crucially un-Spoon like in its creamy 70s AM-liteness. If i had to break it down binary style, it’s much closer to Billy Joel than it is to Spoon.

  8. It saddens me that this great song had to be tainted by an ignorant discussion of post titles. Anyway, it’s a great song, easily better than many on Sky Blue Sky.
