
Once more, the Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival is bringing an eclectic spread of music and arts to the Seattle Center in Washington for your Labor Day relaxation (August 30 – September 1). Today they announce a partial lineup of confirmed acts, including Beck, M. Ward, the Walkmen, Neko Case, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Dan Deacon, Blitzen Trapper, John Vanderslice, Final Fantasy, Arthur & Yu, the stage-scorchers of !!!, and the newly reunited Stone Temple Pilots (assuming Scott Weiland hasn’t yet effectuated the group’s inevitable self-destruction via heroin injection and/or bitchy blog posts). Do people even want to see Stone Temple Pilots anymore? They are supposed to be headlining the Virgin festival here in Calgary too. But I could care less. Be interesting to see if Scott even makes it across the border.
