Hip tot program Yo Gabba Gabba! has already featured some surreal music segments with Cornelius, Biz Markie, and Low. On May 23, the Shins join in the on the fun, performing original song “It’s Okay, Try Again.” You don’t have to set your Tivos because the performance is online. It hit the Web months ago apparently, but perhaps like us you don’t subscribe to NickJr.com’s RSS? In the clip, James, Dave, Jesse, Eric, and Marty (this was taped before his arrest) perform their bouncy, motivational jam in a cardboard forest. Brobee and Foofa seem to dig it! Watch here.

This is really old. Probably like a year old. I could have sworn I first heard about it on here…
It’s alright, but The Shins don’t work for kids (except on the Spongebob album). It just doesn’t have the wordplay.
