Yes everybody’s crushing on Santogold. The record’s so solid that Santi and Downtown thought it didn’t even need this sweet and mellow reggae jam on its tracklist, apparently. Which is crazy because it is so good, you guys. But then, leaving a track this strong for bonus material speaks louder about the proper record’s quality than we ever could. So this is Your Favorite Song Of The Day alert: Download the b-side “Your Voice” at RCRD LBL and spend the rest of Friday wishing it was summer already.

i cant stop listening to les artistes
my girlfriend can’t stop talking about santogold. i finally caved and listened and now i can’t either. that said, this is easily better than some of the weirder stuff on the record, it should be on there. anyway i love her.
I really like the cd…but at times it bothers me because it sounds more like a mixtape than a coherent album because of all the genre-hopping. Ridiculously talented though

Loving her record, but there is a track on there that is note for note “Red Light” off Siouxsie’s Kaleidoscope. At least she’s mining the good stuff from the 80s and not the usual crap.
