This is pretty funny. Quality song, too. I checked out what’s leaked, and some of it is pretty awful, but “The Greatest Man That Ever Lived,” “Pig,” and “Automatic” rank up there with some of their best. It’s nice to see them getting things right again for a change.
this video is another reason why were still all in love with Weezer. Its like your dumb older brother that sometimes messes up….you still love him even though he’s an idiot sometimes. Cause you know, deep down there is genius in him.
Brilliant analogy. Exactly. Rivers can be downright awful sometimes, but I know — and, as you said, I think most of us know this deep down — that he’s capable of being really awesome sometimes, as is the rest of the band. This video exemplifies what I love about them. They’ve still got that Weezer charm, despite the cheesy lyrics. Love it.
