It’s not one of the tracks that leaked last month to unenthusiastic reviews. The popular video game has been an effective marketing tool for bands like Mötley Crüe. “I credit Rock Band for bringing in the younger audience,” their manager tells the Times. “The people who downloaded that song aren’t just listening to it, they’re interacting with it.” Short of Rock Of Love 3, this is Axl’s best shot at relevancy 17 years after Use Your Illusion.
