Girls played a show we put on in Bushwick with MyOpenBar a couple few weeks ago. Not the Buzzcocks crew from Seattle, though those Girls do have an album Yes No Yes No Yes No out on Dirtnap this fall. We’re talking about the San Francisco duo of Chet JR White and Holy Shit’s Christopher Owens. To further the introduction, take a look at their sun-speckled lazy-day Heidi Petty and -directed “film” for “God Damned.” Note the Marilyn Manson cameo in the above still. Note the mellowness everywhere else.
