In this Keith Schofield-directed clip, recent Bloc Party remixers CSS document their various world-traveling shenanigans with a Polaroid and a seemingly endless pile of optical illusions/in-camera tricks, sticking every last photo onto their rental van until they’re unable to see the road ahead. There could be a clever message in here somewhere, but don’t think too hard — it’s more likely they needed the crash sequence so Lovefoxxx could do another costume change.

Less flashy than the “Rat Is Dead (Rage)” clip and not as glossy as Left Behind,” but slightly more enjoyable. Still: This is their best video. Serious.

holy crap this is the worst thing ever…

If an American band wrote this song it would be on the fucking Disney channel and everybody would hate it. CSS is one of the most overrated bands on the planet. shame on you Sub Pop.

yeah, but it’s not an american band, it’s not on the disney channel, and not everyone hates it so your point is entirely irrelevant. yeah, because lily allen and lykke li are totally indie and not disney worthy. for whatever reason certain artists gain notoriety through different avenues and what’s so wrong with that?

I like CSS, but this song is to their earlier music what Stereogum is to music journalism.

This song is great. Don’t listen to David. It’s exactly disagreements like this that broke us up.
