Mid-summer BTW Hospital Ships, aka Jordan Geiger, is making some moves this fall. When we posted about Geiger in July, we mentioned he does singing and songwriting in Minus Story, some trumpet and keyboard playing for Shearwater. Well, his solo debut Oh, Ramona‘s due out at the end of the month, and he has a number of dates this month opening for Shearwater. There’s also this floral home movie-themed up-close-and-persona on-the-road video for Oh, Ramona‘s second track, “Baby For J.”

For those of you that prefer your music without pictures, we have this remix of Oh, Ramona‘s “The Shots I Drank” by SayMyName (thanks for the tip, Zach). It sounds like Doug Martsch fronting a shuffling, percussive electro troupe.

You can hear the un-remixed “The Shots I Drank” at Hospital Ships’ MySpace.
