To bring to life the wet nightmare that is Skeletal Lamping‘s funky first single, of Montreal left the costumes and live animals onstage and instead turned to animation group SSSR. Directors Marc Reisbig and Hanne Berkaak imagine a drawing board come to life with colorful creatures, aliens, and personified household objects. While we miss Georgie Fruit, Pineapplehead is a fair substitute. It’s like Picture Pages for polysexual potheads.

Bitchin’
It’s tough when you build your business on musicians. They go south, you got no choice but to be “respectable” about them. Same old story. Put Rolling Stone on the masthead already.
2 thumbs up! lovely vid and really great song.
Jebus, there is more content on this blog now devoted to of Montreal than on ofmontreal.net.
