Fresh off the release of Dig Out Your Soul, Oasis are making sure no one ever sneaks up on stage to topple Noel/make Liam do a Frasier impression ever again: The Gallaghers closed out the BBC’s five-day 2008 Electric Proms festival in London with a large choir aka the Crouch End Festival Chorus aka a posse. We have video of the extended “Champagne Supernova” as well as a Beatles cover. Both are long, have a choir, and get louder at the end (i.e. they are “climactic”).
Before that, they did “I Am The Walrus” with the goo goo g’joob chorus.
