So far we have ourselves pin art and pin headed videos for “Wannabe In LA.” Last night EoDM fittingly took Heart On‘s first single on the road to Los Angeles, where they performed it for Jimmy Kimmel: Jesse Hughes hammed it up per usual, the backing band (some QOTSA and EoDM regulars) chewed a lot of gum, and Josh — relying on tambourine and backing vocals — payed tribute to the Trenchcoat Mafia.
It’s nice of the audience to stay awake.
Heart On is out via Downtown.

The Buddyhead interview with Hughes after they got kicked off the GNR tour is classic. I love the story he tells about seeing Sebastian Bach on the plane before a show in Cleveland, with Bach telling him the show was going to be “rad!” and Hughes replying that it was going to be a “SAVAGE ANIMAL!” to which Bach responded with a face that suggested Hughes had delivered a very low blow…
This album rocks, by the way.
meh…
tax write-off band for Downtown … utter crap
