But do they bring their “A” game? (Sorry.) The band, seemingly piloted by Arcade Fire/Beirut member Kelly Pratt, includes LCD Soundsystem’s Pat Mahoney on drums plus Jon Natchez and Perrin Cloutier from Beirut and Richard Reed Parry from Arcade Fire. They’ve completed a record, but don’t have a label just yet. As K Pratt notes, “I have pressed a small number of copies so you should be able to buy it from our MySpace page within a day or two.” Take a listen to “On My Mind” today. After all that namedropping, it may very well sound different than you expect. Especially the guitar solo in the middle.

If you’re in the NYC area, they’re playing their first show 11/10 at Union Pool in Williamsburg. Pratt says he’ll have some copes of the CD to sell at the show. The live bands looks like this:

Kelly Pratt (Arcade Fire)
Tracy Pratt (Beirut)
Jon Natchez (Beirut, Stars Like Fleas)
Ryan Smith (Twin Thousands, Stars Like Fleas)
Jason Poranski (Beirut, FreeTime)
Mike Fadem (Jealous Girlfriends)

You can hear more at Team B’s MySpace. As far as Team A, David Byrne notes that Arcade Fire are “in the very early stages of beginning a new recording.”
