Per custom, if it’s a performance at 30 Rock, Ezra will bring the string section. And if it’s a performance anywhere, Rostam will bring the scarf. The twist on this “Kids” take? No sign of Chromeo.
Vampire Weekend will be making at least two more appearances this year: the Best Album category and the Most Overrated category in this year’s Gummy Awards. Few acts have such power.

Sonofabitch, why would they choose this song as a single? I mean, I know they’ve already used four songs from the album, but why not choose a better, more radio-friendly song like “M79″ or “Walcott”?
Also, what was with that first line sung by Ezra? He sounded like Bjork with a cold.
It’s kind of an obscure song, but the riff is EXACTLY the riff from “It Shows in Your Face” by The Gas. Has anybody else noticed?

I love these guys. I’ve been listening to the album all year long, but I’m still not tried of any of the songs, not even “A-Punk” or “Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa”. I don’t understand where all the disdain for them comes from. Oh well. Not my loss.

It is actually fun for me, hating vampire weekend is like a game.

The drummer resembles a pigeon with the way he moves his head. haha
I think that is the best performance I’ve seen from them. Very tight overall and Ezra’s vocals were as good, if not better, than they are on the album.
Love Vampire Weekend (Don’t think im too cool to say that unlike some), but this is just about the worst song off the album to release as a single. i mean, come on Vampire Weekend. like someone else said, M79 is awesome. how about I Stand Corrected? there are many gems on the album, why this one?

What’s with the scarf Batmanglij? Evertime I see this guy he’s wearing a scarf, including that time on th beach. He either got bit by a…ok, I won’t go there or he has a huge hicky.
