
The last time the Killers did Kimmel they explained their band name (“to relax before a show we like to kill someone“). This time they kept it to the music and the feathered jackets with a shot at “Human.” The Hunter S. Thompson-referencing track — yes it is “are we human or are we dancer” — sounds better live, but you already knew that. (Sorry Stuart Price.) It’s a good single, from a good singles band.
Day & Age is out today via Island. The Killers are taking M83 out on the road with them(!). For fans of synths and the ’80s:

I actually thought they were really good on Kimmel. Much better than they were on SNL where Brandon Flowers seemed really nervous and was singing off-key most of the time. Seems they do better in front of a bigger audience.
why is everyone in this band so….terrible looking except brandon flowers?
He surrounds himself with ugly people to make himself look better.
