On Friday we included Lily Allen’s second studio album It’s Not Me, It’s You in the list of The 20 Albums We’re Most Excited To Hear In 2009. While Amrit occasionally refers to himself as “a sensitive,” we had no idea just how soon that wish would come to (at least partial) fruition. At the time we’d experienced “The Fear, “Everyone’s At It,” and the cover of Britney Spears’ “Womanizer.” It turns out “Fuck You” is the new name for “Guess Who Batman?,” a track we posted in June. As you listen to the following preview, the new ones to note are “Not Fair,” “22,” and “Never Gonna Happen.”
It’s Not Me, It’s You is out 2/10 via Capitol.

Oy, trash talkers and bashers need to take the stick out of their asses and stop with this crap about “not an artist.” Her songs are fun and catchy and have interesting lyrics. And if you’re gonna discredit her by calling her a cow or making fun of her face, you are probably in grade school, which means you probably don’t warrant a response at all other than go do something that doesn’t disturb the adults.
She is a fantastic artist, much better than most of the artists out there right now. She has talent. You haters most likely can’t sing as well as her and probably never will. I personally can’t wait for this album to drop. I am going to buy it as soon as it comes out. She has some great songs. I really like fuck you lol.
