As thanks for their support this year, starting today Coldplay are stuffing fans’ stockings with a free MP3 of Stuart “Thin White Duke” Price’s “Viva La Vida” remix. The dancey tune, which was heard in interludes during the band’s 2008 tour, is even peppier than the single version, but rips off the Bloodshy & Avant remix of Joe Satriani. The download’s available until January 5 for the price of a fake e-mail address at coldplay.com/song. If that’s not festive enough for you, here’s the band performing “Jingle Bells” with Simon Pegg in London last week.

Nice antlers, Jonny.
