Last week we mentioned ex-Grandaddy Jason Lytle shows up on M. Ward’s forthcoming Hold Time. He’ll also show up on his own forthcoming solo debut. He recently performed a track from it “Birds Encouraged Him” on Maps, the daily show on Bologna, Italy’s Città Del Capo Radio Metropolitana. It’s a low-key piece finding Lytle (actually, the birds) wondering over and over why “you don’t even try.” Quitter.
