Junior Boys’ Jeremy Greenspan lends his chilly vocals to “Ruthless City” from Metro Area halve Morgan Geist’s Double Night Time, out now on his own Environ label. The Noah Conopask-directed video takes the song title and lyrics pretty literally, so if you know it, there won’t bee too many surprises: We get a dark city night, two guys waiting for some dude come home with his bags of groceries (he bought lots of tomatoes, French bread and, wait, some big apples). When he arrives, the dude with bad facial hair gets angry and things take a turn for the worse.

I’m eagerly awaiting Junior Boys new album to be released later this year. Both their previous two albums are amazing.

  2. Sounds like a Junior Boys song.
