A couple weeks ago we premiered the video for Beirut’s “La Llorona,” a track from the forthcoming March Of The Zapotec EP. As mentioned earlier, it comes packaged with another EP, Holland, which includes five solo Condon home recordings under his “Realpeople” moniker. Last night (1/26) at a last-minute show at Coco66 in Greenpoint, Zach Condon and his band performed a one of those Holland tracks, “The Concubine.” Of course, this live take’s different than the solo home recording, replacing a twinkling glockenspiel and shaker with a full band.
