As the outlook for record stores gets increasingly dire, the festivities associated with Record Store get proportionately more awesome. Matador’s contribution will be to corral Sonic Youth and Beck onto a single 7″ and have them engage in mutual and reciprocal cover love: SY doing “Pay No Mind,” Beck on “Green Light.” They’re limited, they’re vinyl, and they’re only available at RSD-participating indie stores.
