The Crystal Stilts have nailed their dusky ’80s noise pop so well that it feels like Alight Of Night will never age — the collection arrived well-worn and familiar but, to these ears at least, endlessly compelling. (See, for instance, Alight standout “Prismatic Room.” Play it six times in a row and it’s still a hit.) For those in search of new old Stilts, the Brooklyn quartet’s releasing a new 7″ at the end of the month. The A-Side’s the upbeat, two-minute, immediately infectious live favorite “Love Is A Wave.”
