Papercut Jason Quever does a great job with the shadowy psych-pop track “Future Primitive“(which we’ve also heard in remixed form via Ruby Suns). He doesn’t sound much chirpier on the forthcoming You Can Have What You Want title track, but this sort of downcast haziness showcases his voice best. And, yeah, he’s saying “can” not “can’t,” so it’s not as much of a bummer as it appears on the surface. Unless, like most of us, you don’t know what’s good for you.

Check out Great Northern’s new album. I’ve had a chance to listen to most of it already and it’s pretty dope.
