For most liking the Dead will always be more about the search for the perfect boot than the merits of their studio work, but that won’t stop Bob, Phil, Mickey et al from going back into the studio. Or at least hinting at it.

  1. To be honest, I always thought their studio stuff was pretty good, first 3 albums anyway. However I was too young to ever see them live. Making a new album without Jerry Garcia just seems strange though.
