In this Relapse track, Marshall Mathers tries to conjure the thoughts of a late-night serial killer but as with “We Made You,” it’s more a reminder that the ’90s are over, Eminem. Go back in time.

Sure, maybe it seems a little like the previous stuff, but, still listen to the lines…the wordplay is ridiculous.

Listen to it a couple times, it has a definite Buffalo Bill context to it, but you knwo what, even it is an omage to the past, it is still better than a lot of the stuff coming out.

Act like you don’t want to hear a track where Em goes in on everyone. Listen from :34 to :56, fuck, the whole second verse and tell me that anyone else can do that.

Go watch the naked hipsters run down NYC and get hit by a bus at the end. Wow, real creativity. You yuppie shit heads.

By the way, if you want to report on rap, why not get Mos Def’s 12 minute “say you will” cover. Don’t pick and choose when you want to report on rap/hip hop.

    Stereogum, fail.

  2. glad to see eminem hasn’t evolved musically at all, cept his voice

I’m confused, are the 90s back or not? Or are they so back, they’re actually over?

    I like Eminem.

  4. I don’t know who I hate more, gangster Eminem or class clown Eminem.

What the fuck? Is the whole album done in a Jamaican accent? It’s fucking annoying.

  6. f…ck all you haters accept the fact that eminem is back !!!!! to prove to you all that he is the best rapper alive !!!!

  7. Eminem is dead.

RIP Marshall Mathers and Slim Shady LPs

  8. Whaaaaaat  |   Posted on Apr 25th, 2009

You guys are whack. Eminem is dead? Do you not hear the lyrics? The wordplay? The beat? The demented fire of this track? This shit is off the chain. There is not ONE person that can do this. Eminem is still on top, always will be on top. You’re hating on the voice. It fits the persona of a serial killer perfect. He went full fledged on this track. This shit is INCREDIBLE. I’ve had it on repeat for several hours.

this song is fucking brilliant, it dark, violent, grimey with a sick beat that makes it sound creepy as fuck. All the dickheads that dont like this song are stuck in the trap of catchy hooks chorus’s and lyrics about strippers, money and pussy. This song switches it up, its different from anything else out at the minute. Fuck you have to listen to the song at least to 5 times to understand what the fuck he it talking about which is addiction to prescription pills and the shit it does that fucks up your mind. Name one song out this year that made you listen, play and listen again.
