Mike Nichols has such good taste when he was young…S+G’s version of “blues run the game” deseves to be in the movie…it’s something to strive for…
I picture him coming out at Newport and singing this, and my head exploding.
I’m glad that robins are back, now that it’s springtime.
But I kind of miss the mandolins and intricate guitar of ‘Heard Them Stirring’; he seems sadder now somehow…
