  6. when i first heard the dirty projectors i wasn’t so into it, then i saw them live and it blew my mind. they are incredible live. so i was like, they must be one of those bands that are okay recorded yet mind blowing live (see: akron/family) but Bitta Orca totally proved that theory wrong. amazing amazing album.

    Saw DIrty Projectors in Toronto and they are probably the worst band I’ve ever seen live.

    “And She Was”…i’ve only been able to play it twice so far… but…lots to really like here…may the next one be their Pepper,Close to the Edge,RaspberrySkylarking, perfect songcycle tied with a bow, Sondheim moment of mindblowing beauty and innovation…because they are really capable of it…
