Declan’s been had pushing this track via myriad outlets in support of his latest T-Bone Burnett production Secret, Profane & Sugarcane, but this is its first time on network TV. The T-Bone co-written “Sulphur To Sugarcane” is a highlight from the acoustic and fiddle heavy, country-leaning LP, and Conan stamps it with a “that is how it’s done.”

Secret, Profane & Sugarcane is out 6/2 on Starbucks’ Hear Music.

The good: the line about “The women in Poughkeepsie take their clothes off when their tipsy”.

    The bad: the song itself.
